The remodeled Tesla S P85s, formerly known as the EDT CAR V1.3 is set to make the Electric GT Championship exciting from the very start of the series in 2017. The racing car which is distinguished from other Tesla models by its unique rear-wheel drive setup has been specially prepared for the highly anticipated championship by EGT Engineering.
The sleek racing car which is said to be more powerful than the present Formula E cars features new advanced brakes, trick suspension, aerodynamic setups which include wings, a beefed up suspension, and an enhanced cooling system to ensure that the batteries are well taken care of during the race.
The Road to Vegas Challenge is an event that will feature ten of the best sim racers alongside professional Formula E drivers in the Vegas eRace that is due to take place on January 7th, 2017.
Organized by Cloud Sport, the event is open to all and once registered, the drivers get the chance to practice on the virtual Formula E track prior to gaining access to the qualifying event.
Four drivers have already been confirmed following the end of the Berlin qualifying Road to Vegas Challenge and six more drivers are set to be confirmed after the London round of the Road to Vegas race that will take place on the 4th of December.

The EGT championship which is fully backed up by FIA was launched earlier this year and will produce a total of 7 races for its first season. The races will be held at several circuits such as Circuit Paul Ricard, Zandvoort, Donington Park, Nürburgring, Barcelone, and Estoril circuits.
Each episode will consist of a practice session set to last for 20 minutes, an evaluation period of 30 minutes and 2 races, a dusk and a day race that are set for 50 minutes each to cover an equal distance of 60 km.

Electric Formula Cars EFC 1.1 does a system test of new batteries, BMUs and BCU at the Marulan Circuit, near Goulburn NSW Australia. The two sessions without charging show that the car can complete a 20+ minutes event. After checking logs and updating settings, the next test will be to simulate a race day with Practice, Qualifying and two Race runs.
